For the younger group, try having students learn how to recognize and give ‘respect’ – what respect looks like, what it feels like, and what happens when it is not given. For older groups, focus on the difficult concept of extending respect to individuals they do not feel deserve it. Additionally, try to having the them include the importance of respecting oneself as well – paving a smooth transition into Empowerment.
