The difficulty of this week’s theme arises from its broadness. In one sense, the wide definition of All Together does expand the tools available for lesson creation. However, in a much more prominent sense, the broadness opens the doorway to half-baked lesson plans that lack substance. Please try your hardest to have students leave with something more than “Teamwork is good.”
Within older groups, this theme has a similar potential to be taught without nuance. Yes, teamwork is “good.” But we can do better. Seek to find conversations which yield a more dynamic and mature understanding of how to value and work with differing perspectives. |
